Rangjung Yeshe Gomde
(The Retreat Land of Self-Existing Wakefulness)

Nestled on 250 acres along the Eel River in the northern California hills of Mendocino County, Rangjung Yeshe Gomde is the retreat center for the Chokling Tersar Foundation.

Gomde offers opportunities to study and practice the Dharma in a secluded location of exquisite natural beauty. Year-round activities include ceremonies, practice and study group meetings, individual retreats and the celebration of religious holidays. Gomde also offers seminars with authentic Buddhist masters from the Chokling Tersar tradition. Annual seminar retreats with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, who founded Gomde to fulfill the wishes of his father, the renowned Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, are also organized for long-term students as well as newcomers exploring Buddhism.

We are honored to invite you to visit and join us for retreat, study and practice. Please see the links on the sidebar for more information on seminars and activities at the retreat center.
